Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church was originally known as Trinity Lutheran Church, organized in 1882. Trinity merge was Zion Lutheran Church in ruffs Dale St John’s parish in Mount Pleasant Township in the early 1900s. Trinity became a separate parish in 1918 before we’re joining with Saint John in 1923..

in 1971 Trinity in Zion merged to become Good Shepherd Lutheran. St John’s continue this affiliation with Good Shepherd until 1999.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church has seen two pastoral changes over the past 25 years. A Wednesday evening service was added in 2000. Presently to services are offered each Sunday morning with Eucharist available at all three services. The membership of the church totals 321.

Good Shepherd has the Meals on wheels program, weekly alcoholics anonymous meetings, and annual community Thanksgiving dinner, and a fun day featuring games and food each June.
